Little Known Spaghetti Western Actors ~ Norma Duval

[These daily posts will cover little known actors or people that have appeared in more recent films and TV series. Various degrees of information that I was able to find will be given and anything that you can add would be appreciated.]

Norma Duval is a Spanish vedette, actress, and businesswoman known for her glamorous stage presence and starring role as première vedette at the Folies Bergère in Paris from 1980 to 1984. She became one of the leading figures in Spanish revue theater and cabaret, performing in elaborate productions that combined music, dance, and spectacle.

Born Purificación Martín Aguilera on April 4, 1956, in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, Duval first gained public attention after winning Miss Madrid in 1973, which propelled her into the entertainment industry. She made her television debut in 1974 on the program '’¡Señoras y señores!’, where she performed alongside notable artists, and soon transitioned into film roles in movies such as ''Préstame tu mujer'', ''Tres mujeres de hoy'', and ''La mujer del juez'' (1984). As traditional revue shows evolved, she shifted focus to theater, including zarzuela productions like ''La corte del faraón'', and later managed her own touring shows across Spain, Mexico, and Italy while establishing herself as a producer and entrepreneur.

In addition to her stage and screen work, Duval has appeared in television series, musical programs, and commercials, including a notable Freixenet cava advertisement. Her career spans over five decades, marked by versatility across performance mediums and a lasting impact as one of Spain's prominent vedettes.
