RIP Elio Zamuto

 

Italian actor and voice actor Elio Zamuto died in Oriolo, Romano, Italy on September 9^th he was 85. Born Elio Mazzamuto on May 1, 1941, in Syracuse, Sicily, Italy he was an Italian actor and voice actor. He started his career in the mid-1960s, and had a prolific career between television and cinema, especially during the 1970s and mainly playing roles of seducer, gangster or police officer. As voice actor, he was best known, as the official Italian dubbing voice of Tom Selleck in the TV-series ‘Magnum, P.I.’ Elio was a voice actor on four Spaghetti westerns: “In the Name of the Father, of the Son and of the Colt” in 1971 was the Italian voice of Craig Hill, “Gunmen and the Holy Ghost” in 1972 was the Italian voice of Tom Felleghy, “Trinity & Sartana Those Sons of Bitches” in 1972 was the Italian voice of Romano Puppo, “The Son of Zorro” in 1973 was the Italian voice of Fernando Sancho.
