Who Are Those Guys? ~ Mario de Simone

 

Mario de Simone was born in Caserta, Campania, Italy on March 17, 1930. He was an Italian character actor who appeared in 60 films from 1952 to 1967. He also produced the 1986 TV film “Le volpi della notte”.

After starring in numerous films as a character actor, he ended his career as an agent for Paolo Villaggio. In 1990 he participated, in the role of chancellor, in the Rai 1 variety show ‘Il caso Sanremo’, with Lino Banfi, Renzo Arbore and Michele Mirabella.

Mario died in Rome on November 8, 1999, at the age of 69.

Mario appeared in three Spaghetti westerns: “Ringo e Gringo contro tutti” (Rebels on the Loose) in 1966 as a deputy; “Odio per odio” (Hate for Hate) in 1967 as the hotel manager and the TV episode ‘Totò Ciak! – Toto contro Ringo’ (TV) in 1967 as one of the MacGregor brothers.
