Baldo
This comic book series was created by Luciano Bottaro in
1952, Baldo is a friendly sergeant of the "Giubbe Rosse". In the
1960s and 1970s it was also successfully published in France and Germany (here
renamed Sonny Sam). Guido Scala contributed to the stories of the Sixties. The
character is published in Le gaie fantasie (Alpe, 1953-55), Rin Tin
Tin & Rusty (Cenisio, 1961 and 1965), Penna di falco (Cenisio,
1961), Silvestro (Cenisio, 1965-66) and L’uomo of U.N.C.L.E.
(Cenisio, 1967).
