As we know most of the Euro-westerns were co-productions from Italy, Spain, Germany and France which incorporated British and American actors to gain a worldwide audience. The films were shot silent and then dubbed into the various languages where they were sold for distribution. That means Italian, Spanish, German, French and English voice actors were hired to dub the films. Even actors from the countries where the film was to be shown were often dubbed by voice actors for various reasons such as the actors were already busy making another film, they wanted to be paid additional salaries for dubbing their voices, the actor’s voice didn’t fit the character they were playing, accidents to the actors and in some cases even death before the film could be dubbed.
I’ll list a Euro-western and the (I) Italian, (S)

in a while a bio on a specific voice actor as in Europe these actors are as
well-known as the actors they voiced.

Lily Barin (1921 – 2017)
Lily Baron was born on March 13, 1921, in Héricourt, Haute-Saône, France. She was a French actress specializing in dubbing. Lily studied with a congregation of sisters and organized shows with them. With the desire to be an actress since early on, she went to Paris in 1939 to try her luck.
She will have a career in the world of dubbing, her voice being associated with emblematic roles: Tara King in “Chapeau melon et bottes de cuir” Bowler Hat and Leather Boots, Harriet Olson in “La Petite Maison dans la prairie” (Little House on the Prairie), and more recently Miss Marple in the eponymous television series ‘Miss Marple’.
Before shifting primarily to dubbing, Baron acted on-camera in several French films of the forties and 1954's “Si Versailles m'était conté” (Royal Affairs in Versailles) with Orson Welles as Benjamin Franklin. She returned to on-camera acting for two melodramas in the seventies.
She was the wife of actor Jacques Berthier from 1947 until his death in 2008.
Lily herself, died on November 4, 2017, in Neuilly-sur-Seine,
Île-de-France, France. She was 96.
