In the opening scene of 1968’s “I Want Him Dead” starring Craig Hill. His character Clayton is camped in a canyon with his sister. In one of the coolest scenes in Spaghetti western history we Clayton sees the reflection in his coffee cup of a man with a pistol on the ridge above sneaking up to ambush him. He turns and fires killing the gunman.
The scene was filmed in Valle del Búho, Tabernas, Almería, Spain. The same location as seen in 2023.
