Little Known Spaghetti Western Actors ~ Patrizio Ballanti and Rinaldo Ballantini

 [These daily posts will cover little known actors or people that have appeared in more recent films and TV series. Various degrees of information that I was able to find will be given and anything that you can add would be appreciated.]

Patrizio Ballanti was an Italian child actor and the brother of actor Aldo Ballanti. Like most child actors, once they reached puberty, they decided to travel other roads to make a living or devote time to education. Patrizio appeared in only one released Spaghetti western, the dreadful, “Young Guns Go West” in 1975 as Snots the kid with the runny nose. He also was to appear in another western by the same crew “Zorro the Kid” (1978) but it was never filmed.

Rinaldo Ballanti was the brother of actor Patrizio Ballanti. Usually billed as Aldo Ballanti his film career was one film longer than his brother Patrizio’s. Aldo’s biggest film role was in 1975’s “L'ostaggio” (Young Guns Go West”) where he appeared as Sheriff Johnny. His career was over by the middle of the 1970s. What happened to him, and his brother is anyone’s guess.
