RIP Carla Cassola

 


RIP Carla Cassola. Theater, film, TV, singer and voice actress Carla Cassola died in Rome on July 24, 2022. She was 74. Cassola was very active in the Italian theater and worked in films with such directors as Tinto Brass, Liliana Cavani, Antonio Rezza and Lucio Fulci. Born on December 14, 1947 in Taormina, Sicily, Italy, she won a Silver Ribbon for her dubbing of Tilda Swinton in the film “Orlando” in 1993. She leaves a son Giulio Pampiglione born in 1978. Carla appeared in two Spaghetti westerns: “Death Rides a Horse” (1968) as Betsy and “The Genius” (1975) with Terence Hill where she played a prostitute.
