Gli Albi Delle – Great Adventures

This comic book series was comprised of 115 issues and divided into two volumes. Volume one was called Great Advenutres. Issue #1 was released on June 6, 1944 and ended in 1947. The second volume was called Albo Adventure and issue #1 was released on June 15, 1947 and ended with #88 on June 10, 1949.

The Great Adventures did not carry any numbering but only individual characters, while the second series Albo Adventures has a double numbering system, that of the series and that of the characters and ends with #88. In actuality there are 95 total issues. (#79, #81-88” were the Zorro series.

The comic books were published by S.E.P.I. (Capriotti Publishing House) in Rome, Italy under the direction of Alberto Crucilla, Gastone Martioni and Rodolfa Capriotti. Each issue contained 16 black and white pages with color covers and came in various sizes.
