Romanian actor Şerban
Celea died on August 20, 2020, at the age of 68, the Romanian Theater Union
announces. Born on June 10, 1952,
graduated from the College “St. Sava ”from Bucharest
and the Institute
of Theater and
Cinematographic Art, class of 1975, in the class of teacher Sanda Manu. He started his career as an actor at the “George
Bacovia” Dramatic Theater in Bacău
(1975-1976), he continued at the Giuleşti Theater (today Odeon) between
1976-1979, the Comedy Theater (1979-1994), the Bulandra Theater (1994- present). For the most part, Celea has appeared
in horror and action films released directly to the video, such as My Enemy’s Enemy , Witchouse II: Blood Co. and The Prince of Darkness: The True Story of
Dracula. He has also appeared in Steven Seagal ’s Attack Force and Jean-Claude
Van Dammen’s Second in Command and Assassination Games. Serban appeared in two Euo-westerns: “Phantom Town” (1997) as a cowboy and as the
bartender in “Aliens in the Wild, Wild West” (1999).
