Lauretta Masiero was born on October 25, 1927, in Venice,
Italy. She born debuted in Variety Theater as a dancer with Wanda Osiris. In
1952 she began acting in films with an appearance in her only Euro-western “Il
bandolero stanco” with Renato Rascel. Masiero worked with such stars as Totò,
Ugo Tognazzi, Dorelli, Raimondo Vianello and Oreste Lionello. Lauretta would
later appear in the television series “Le avventure di Laura Storm” (1965-1966).
She had a son, actor Gianluca Guidi [1967- ] from a relationship with actor,
singer Johnny Dorelli [1937- ]. After 25 films and TV appearances Lauretta
retired and died in a Rome clinis at the age of 82, on March 23, 2010, following
a long hospitalization suffering from Alzheimer's disease.
