Veteran voice actor and dubber
Victor Agramunt died in Madrid, Spain on August 30th. He was born Rafael
Víctor Agramunt Oliver in Cabanes, Castellón, Spain on January 29, 1938.
Agramunt was one of Spain’s most renowned voice actors. In the 1950s he began
to collaborate in Radio Castellón, of the SER chain, as an actor, announcer and
host of different programs of the station. Although Barcelona is where he did
his first dubbing work, it was in Madrid, where he arrived in the mid-1960s, where
he developed his fruitful professional career. He became part of the cast of
actors of the Madrid studio, "Sincronía". Among his first notable
roles were: James Dean in "East of Eden (film)", Brad Davis in
Midnight Express", Ryan O'Neal in "What's Wrong with Me Doctor?"
or Dustin Hoffman in "Kramer vs. Kramer", Timothy Bottoms in
"Johnny Picked Up His Rifle", among many other roles. Agramunt dubbed
