Bat Masterson
This Western comic book was written by France Herron, Howard Nostrand and illustrations by Bob Powell inspired by the television series produced in 1959 by CBS which tells the adventures of Bat Masterson, a real-life character known as "the iron fist sheriff". The popularity of the character, always elegantly dressed and not prone to violence, fades just two years after his creation, in correspondence with the conclusion of the television series. In Italy, Corno su Maschera Nera (1963), I Classici del Fumetto Supplement (1964) and Smack (1968) are published. The comic based on a television series broadcast on NBC from 1958 to 1961. The comic version was originally published by Dell from 1958 to 1961. Stories by Gaylord DuBois, drawings by Jerry Robinson. It also exists in a Sunday strip and table versions for newspapers.
