Happy 90th Birthday Aice Parolin
Aice Parolin was born on March 28, 1920 in Cagliari, Italy. He was an assistant to cinematographer Leonida Barboni and for films directed by Pietro Germi and Renato Castelani in the mid-1950's. He became a director of photography in 1960 with “Giorno di giorno disperatamente directed by Alfred Giannetti. From 1965 until 1975 Parolin photographed five Euro-westerns: “The Sheriff Won't Shoot” (1965), “A Minute to Pray, a Second to Die” (1967), “Carambola!” (1973), “The Crazy Adventures of Len and Coby” (1974) and “Keoma the Avenger” (1975). His last film as cinematographer was in 1991's “L'avvoltoiopuò attendere”. He appeared as himself in the 2009 documentary “Pietro Germi - Il bravo, il bello, il cattivo”. Today we celebrate Aice Parolins 90th birthday.
