Ex-Army captain Pat Scotty is hired to eliminate a gang of Mexican bandits led by El Condor. Pretending to be a miner in search of gold, Scotty craftily earns the trust of the bandits. With the help of a Mexican girl who has fallen in love with him, Pat is able to trap the gang and calls in the 7th cavalry for support. During his stay at the camp he has developed a genuine friendship and respect for El Condor. When he sees that El Condor has escaped the trap Scotty pursues him and when they confront each other a final duel takes place.
