The TV series celebrates its 200-episode set in the western Fort Bravo-Texas Hollywood of Tabernas

Almería will be, during at least one episode, the protagonist of one of the most successful comedy series in Spain. 'La que se avecina' (The One That is Coming) moves the famous neighbors of his building – now located on Calle Contubernio 49 – to the distant West of Almeria in a special chapter that commemorates the 200 installments of the series and that, in addition, will be screened in cinemas.
As LA VOZ announced in June of this year, the famous Spanish series chose Almería for the filming of one of the episodes of its new season. A recording that took place for an entire week, from June 7 to 14, and of which the first images have now been published.
Specifically, the exact location that the Caballero brothers – creators of the series – have chosen for this special episode is the Fort Bravo-Texas Hollywood theme park, nestled in the cinematic Desert of Tabernas. In it, and thanks to the images shared by Laura Caballero, you can see different scenes shot with the most iconic protagonists of the series. From Antonio Recio (Jordi Sánchez) riding horseback to Menchu Carrascosa (Loles León) serving drinks in an authentic 'saloon' of western film.
In the cinemas throughout Spain
The chapter, called 'A City Without a Law, a Mormon and a Two Story Saloon', will be part of season 16 of the series, which premieres on November 18 on Prime Video. However, the special chapter of which Almería is part will see the light in two extraordinary passes that the series has prepared for the big screen.
It will be on November 11 and 15, and as its creator has assured, it will be screened in the more than 40 theaters that Cines Yelmo has throughout Spain. Among them, it will be screened in the Almerian cinemas that are part of the company (Torrecárdenas Commercial Center and Gran Plaza de Roquetas de Mar).
It is not the first time that many of the actors involved
in this series have been on the province. Many of them are usually the usual
faces of the Almería International Film Festival (FICAL). And, in fact, in 2023
'La que se avecina' received the Honor Award of the Series Festival, an award
that was collected by members of his team such as Eva Isanta, Nathalie Seseña,
Macarena Gómez, Petra Martínez or Miren Ibarguren.
