Ermano Donati
and Luigi Carpentieri send a remke of the original Douglas Fairbanks “Zorro”
into production next month (September). Brett Halsey is now reading the script
after being paged to play the title role.
Tom Betts asked Brett about this and he responded on November 3, 2025
“I made three films for Donati and Carpentieri in the early 1960's. I didn't play in their Zorro film because I
was offered another film that was shot at the same time with a better script.”
