Spaghetti Western Trivia – “Sheriff Was a Lady”

 

Four years after "Sheriff Was a Lady" singer Freddy Quinn starred in a stage production of "Prairie Saloon" (1968) in Zurich

"Prairie Saloon" had been filmed for television in 1962 (ORF-Österreichischer Rundfunk), 1964 (SFB-Sender Freies Berlin), and 1966 (ZDF-Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen).

Twenty years later "Prairie Saloon" was still popular in Germany and was performed by the Schulen Duesseldorf in Duesseldorf. 

I wonder how many of his German fans traveled to Switzerland to see him? They probably sold it out every night.
