Little Known Spaghetti Western actors ~ The Brandl family

[These daily posts will cover little known actors or people that have appeared in more recent films and TV series. Various degrees of information that I was able to find will be given and anything that you can add would be appreciated.]

Alois Brandl is a German film actor and head of the Brandl family of film makers. Alois is married to Gisela and the father of Günther, Helmut and Monika. He’s been given smaller and sometimes larger roles in Brandle Films from the very beginning. Whenever an older character was needed, he played them with a plomb and absolute conviction. He quickly found his perfect role: the chief of police, a role he's now played three times, bossing around seasoned cops. But that's not all; he's also cut a fine figure in the Wild West and the Middle Ages, though his most brilliant performance was as the honorable Olaf in the "Hero Quest" films. In the third installment, he finally landed his first leading role. His children are Günther, Helmut and Monika

Günther Brandl is the oldest of Alois and Gisela Brandl’s children. He’s a producer, director, writer, cinematographer, film editor actor and founded Brandl Pictures. His brother is director, writer, cinematographer, film actor, Helmut Brandl born in Arnstorf in 1982 and his sister is director, writer, film actress Monika Brandl born in Arnstorf in 1984. Monika Brandl is the youngest member of the Brandl family and the daughter of Alois and Gisela sister of Günther and Helmut. She is a director, writer and actress. She’s appeared in 48 films among which were four westerns:

Alois’ wife and the mother of Günther, Helmut and Monika. Is also a part of the film production company but mainly in small roles. She has played some larger parts over time, first in "Fatal Obsession." She’s appeared in 22 films with her most believable performance was when she played herself, as Monika's caring mother in "Watch Me."

Her only western appearance was in 2022’s “Im Tal von Achor”.
