RAI-TV, from Milan (tape)
A bright and offbeat show with one of Italy’s more interesting musical personalities, Adriano Celentano – as well as an out-and-out plug for his disk company and its component parts – emerged from this special by RAI-TV. While the humor was mostly a new blend of tried-and -true Celentano-isms, most of the songs were new and listenable, and the pace was sprightly.
Celentano’s personality came through in a set of well-chosen, well-delivered musician numbers. Mostly in the spiritual niche which the Italo singer favors. He also keyed some comedic interludes, including a western saloon bit, good for some laughs, an operation scene spoof, a prizefight bit, plus a session on how songs are presumably born. Lightweight stuff, but in keeping.
Also on tap were members of the Celentano clan such as Don Backy, also contributing a spiritual-type item “L’Amore,” Gino Santercole, I Ribelli (The Rebels) and Milena Cantu’, Celentano discovery gives a massive publicity push in recent months. In keeping with “Clan” tradition (which hasn’t hurt disc sales any) their selections, delivery style, and vocalizing bear unmistakable influences of their leader

To put Celentano's Ringo into context it was six months after "A Pistol for Ringo" (05/65) and two months before "The Return of Ringo" (12/65)
And sometime in between Giuliano Gemma & Rita Pavone did a "Ringo Skit" on one of her RAI TV appearances
