The celebration of the 200th episode of 'La que se avecina' promises to become one of the most anticipated television events of the year. The series created by Laura and Alberto Caballero will reach this milestone within its 16th season, which will premiere on November 18 on Prime Video, with a special installment that will take the residents of Contubernio 49 to a completely unexpected setting: the Wild West.
As Laura Caballero has revealed, the series will pay tribute to the western genre with a very special episode entitled "A Lawless City, a Mormon landmark and a two-story saloon". In it, the characters of 'La que se avecina' will move to a cowboy town, where confrontations, duels in the sun and dances in the saloon will be the protagonists. The craziest neighbors of Spanish television will be transformed into gunslingers, ladies of the west and fortune seekers, in an installment that promises to be a parody as ingenious as it is cinematic.
Now in its 14th season ‘La que se avecina’ is
a television comedy aimed at a mainly young and adult audiences, which is
characterized by ironizing with black humor about the coexistence relationships
between neighbors of a community through stories and surreal situations that
happen to its protagonists.
