Who Are Those Singers & Musicians? ~ Michele Seffer

Italian guitarist/bassist/vocalist Michele Seffer was born on April 17, 1950, in Bari, Italy. He is mostly defined by those who knew him in his best period as a "musical genius", he was able to sing with a falsetto not common to many at the time. He was a member of the Italian folk prog band Ẽra Di Acquario. Seffer later went on to replace bassist Bob Callero in the supergroup Il Volo. In the following years he became bio-pranotherapist..

Michele Seffer briefly played with Il Volo after their second album and is credited as composer and arranger on some 1970's singles by Alcatraz, Hansel & Gretel, I Teppisti dei Sogni and others, but it's unclear whether he was in these bands also as a musician or not. His presence in the group Babilonia (or Babylonia, as in one of their singles) is certain.

He was also known for his exotic guitar collection of over forty instruments.

Sadly, he died on July 3, 2006, from a stroke in Rome, Italy.
