John J. Dee was born on April 12, 1913, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York City, New York, USA. He died on March 29, 1994 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He appeared in some 25+ films and television series between 1970s and 1995.
His entire career was playing old men, especially because, when he started, he was in his sixties.
Dee’s only Euro-western was as the gunsmith in 1976’s “Welcome to Blood City” with Jack Palance and Keir Dullea.
