Béatrice Altariba was a French film and television actress born in Marseille, Bouches-du-Rhône, France on June 18, 1939. She is the niece of poet Paul Fort.[1872-1960]. Béatrice started her career in revues and musical theater, then made her film debut at 17 in the 1956 French film “Pardonnez nos offenses” in the role of Sassia. She appeared on dozen of magazine covers and starred in many French comedies of the 1950s, often opposite Dary Cowl. During the 1960s, she also appeared in Italian film and some international productions. Her last French television appearance was in the first episode of the TV series “The Aeronauts” in 1967. Her last film appearance was also he only Euro-western film appearance as a saloon girl in 1968’s “Cemetery Without Crosses” starring Robert Hossein and Michèle Mercier.
She supposedly married an Italian man in 1970 but I can find no reference to his name or if they are still married.
