Antonio Danesi was born in Rome, Italy in 1926. He is the son of horse trainer, stuntman, actor Alfredo Danesi and the brother of actor Roberto Danesi who was often billed as Robert Dannish.

Antonio was one of the great supporting and character actors of the Spaghetti western genre. Working around horses since childhood his skills were used and put to work by producers and directors usually as a stagecoach driver, hearse, wagon driver or cowboy. He was an expert stuntman, and you can often see him as a saloon brawler.

Seldom does he have any speaking parts but shows up as henchmen and soldiers. He appeared in at least 41credited Euro-westerns.
