Tricolor Collection - (The Corsair Without a Name - The Two Bills - The Sun of the Incas - Little Robinson - The Desert Rebel - Burning Abyss)

A publication which was sold on newsstands in a golden register format with two horizontal columns which allow it to be divided into three strip format registers.

At least 17 issues came out, the first eight of which have the TRICOLOR REGISTER header! and the other eight as IL TRICOLORE! Each comic book published a different character. The first series presents The corsair Without a Name (CN) drawn by Sergio Bazzana, The Two Bills (DB) drawn by Pini Segna and The Sun of the Incas (SI) with the reporter-explorer Dick Russel by Sergio Bazzana. Announced, but not found #9 with "La vendetta dei corsari" (CN), "Il tradimento di Morris" (DB) and "Dick to the rescue" (SI).

The second series which, at least for the first number, continues the numbering which resumed in 1950 by S.T.E. Giulio Vannini with IL TRICOLORE headboard!. In addition to The Sun of the Incas (taken from the previous series), followed by The Green Triangle (#6/8), he published The Little Robinson and The Rebel of the Desert, followed by Ardent Abyss (AA) (#8). Announced, but not found the #9 “In the realm of the unknown” (AA).

This collection was published by MTE in Brescia, Italy under the direction of T. Magrini and G. Valgoglio. Issue #1 was released on December 25, 1948, and issue #9 was released on June 15, 1950. Each issue contained 32 black and white pages with color covers/
