Hans Folke Alfredson was born in Malmö, Skåne län, Sweden o June 28, 1931. He was a comedian, filmmaker, writer, actor, dramatist, director and translator. With Tage Danielsson he co-founded Svenska Ord Productions from 1961-1985. Alfredson was married to actress Gunilla Olsson [1933- ] (1956-2017) and the father of producer, director, writer and actor Daniel Alfredson [1959- ], producer, director, writer, cameraman, film editor Tomas Alfredson [1965- ] and actress Sofi Alfredson [1968- ]. Hans appeared as Jonas Petter in 1971’s “The Emigrants and 1972’s “The New Land” He died in Stokholm on September 10, 2017, at the age of 86.
