Vivian Allen appears to be an American theater, film and TV actress who has only two credits at the IMDb. The first is for a 1950-1952 TV series called ‘The Show Goes On’ and her only film 1970’s ‘Doc’ as a whore. This is where the possible connection to Penelope Allen may come into play. As I posted yesterday Penelope Allen played Mattie Earp in ‘Doc’. Vivian also acted in the theater where I can find three plays she appeared in beginning with her participation in 1941’s “Crazy With the Heat” followed by “Stars on Ice” in 1942 and then “Oklahoma” 1943 as a replacement actress for the roles Ado Annie and Gertie Cummings. Since both actresses were theater actresses and appeared in the same film it’s a good bet they are or were related.
