Story: Northern California, 1867. The US Marshal Ed Dilinger on his way to Fort Baker with a colored prisoner makes a stop for food and water at the home of Leigh Williamson, an ex-Confederate soldier in exile after the war. When the ex-slaver meet the ex-slave he starts to remember the time when he was riding for Dixie.
