50th Anniversary of the premier of “The Bandit Malpelo”

 Today marks the 50th anniversary of the premier of “The Bandit Malpelo” directed by

Giuseppe Maria Scotese and starring Eduardo Fajardo, George Garvell and Charo López. The film tells the tale of a young revolutionary called Diego Mendoza (Garvell), who is looking for Pancho Villa, because he has some important documents for him. He is captured and persecuted by the federales, and left in the middle of the desert, he is then captured by the bandit Malpelo (Fajardo). But when Malpelo finds out what is going on, he decides to help the young man fulfill his mission.
