McConnell's 'Imaginary America' opens at Kirk's June 2.

An opening reception for “Imaginary America: New Paintings by Gordon McConnell” will be from 6 – 9 p.m. on June 4. McConnell will discuss his latest works and Billings guitarist Alex Nauman will perform tunes inspired by spaghetti westerns. All works are for sale and will be available for purchase in person and at starting June 4.

The show will be on display until July 16 at Kirks’ Grocery, 2920 Minnesota Ave., in Billings.

Kirks’ is an all-ages art gallery and performance space dedicated to showing contemporary art by local, regional, national, and international artists that fall outside the typical western art genre associated with Montana galleries. In The Whale, Pop Evil, Hinder, announce Billings shows

Pub Station presents In The Whale on Thursday, July 8, at the Pub Station Taproom. Tickets are $15 in advance and on the day of the show.

Doors open at 7 p.m. and show starts at 8 p.m.

Pop Evil's Versatile Tour with Zero 9:36, BRKN LOVE on Wednesday, July 21, at the Pub Station Ballroom. Tickets are $27.
