This 4 part mini-series was based on the writings of  writer James Fenimore Cooper and feature Nathaniel ‘Natty’ Bumpo aka Leatherstockin and his companion Chingachgook. Beautifully photographed and well-acted you can see the influence the Karl May Winnetou films had on this television series. The series was filmed in Romania. The series was released in France and Germany as ‘The Pathfinder’.

  1. Biltmore: A feature length movie was released to French-Canadian TV under the "Adventure in Ontario", which means the same thing in both French and English!
