We
continue our search for locations for “The Gatling Gun”. After Captain Chris
Tanner’s arrival at Fort Algete in poor condition and the announcement his
companions are dead the scene switches to a basement in Las Cruces, New Mexico
where Richard Gatlin demonstrates his new invention: a gun that can shoot 300
rounds a minute. After the demonstration the group retires to Gatlin’s study
where he is told the three ambassadors of the Federal Government will be
returning to Washington DC to report back to the president the personal
approval of the weapon and to support purchasing a number of the guns for the
Union forces.
The
scene was filmed on a sound stage at Elos Studios in Rome.
