French actor and voice dubber Guy Piérauld died in France
on June 16th at the age of 89. Born Guy Louis di Piro on October 5,
1924 in Lyon, Rhône, France, for forty years he was the voice of Bugs Bunny and
also Woody Woodpecker and Kiri the Clown. Besides his dubbing he also was a
stage actor and film and television actor. Guy was the French voice of Billy
the Kid in the 1984 Lucky Luke TV series. He was a voice of an unknown actor in
God Forgives… I Don’t (1966) and appeared in the 1971 Euro-western television
series Aubrac City.
