Bruce
Byron was born in England on March 13, 1959. He originally followed a career in
music, and he started acting at 20. Byron moved to Australia drilling for oil
and gas in the Cooper Basin, then came back to England but could not get a
place at drama school. Eventually, he was accepted for ARTTS International in
Bubwith, East Riding of Yorkshire.
Films he has appeared in include “The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc” (1999), “The Mummy” (2001) and “From Hell” (2001). He also appeared in television series such as ‘Heartbeat’ in 1998 and as Gary Bolton in ‘EastEnders’ in 2001. His only Euro-western appearance was a bandit in “Gunslinger’s Revenge” in 1998.
Lately Byron appeared in ‘The Bill’ (1994-2010) for several years and played Phil Dans in ‘Casualty’ series 26; episode 26 and episode 31 in 2012.
Today we celebrate Bruce Byron’s 55th birthday.
