Stanford Jolley, Jr., better known as Stan Jolley died on June 4,
2012 and was an American art director and production designer, originally
employed by Walt Disney Studios before he struck out on his own. He was
nominated for an Academy Award in the category Best Art Direction for the 1985
film "Witness". Stan was the son of character actor I. Stanford Jolley, Sr.
[1900-1978], and Emily Mae "Peggy" Jolley. His sister, the late
Sandra Jolley Carson, was the former wife of actor Forrest Tucker and the widow
of Jack Carson. Jolley was Production Designer on the Euro-western “Lawman”
(1971).

What is fascinating is that Stan Jolley's late father, I. Stanford Jolley, (don't laugh that's his real name), was a key actor in B-Westerns in the 40s and 50s. His father died at either 77 or 78 and he came from a show business family. Now that's something. RIP Stan. Now you can be "Jolley" up in Heaven. (No pun intended).
