Kid El Macho an adventurer and gambler, looks like the
twin brother of a miserable outlaw, The Buzzard, who usually tags along with
the bandit, Hidalgo, to rob the victims of his criminal enterprise. When
Hidalgo, assaults a coach, taking hold of a cargo of gold belonging to the
banker Teddy Ross, he and the sheriff convince El Macho, promising him a
$10,000 reward, to pretend to be The Buzzard, who was killed shortly after the
robbery, and in that disguise recover the stolen gold. The former girlfriend of
The Buzzard, Kelly, discovers the disguise and a plot is discovered that El
Macho has been tricked by Ross and the sheriff to defraud the insurance company.
The tables are turned and with Kelly, El Macho will enjoy the gold of the
dishonest banker.
Carlos Monzon would later go on to be charged with murder in the death of his wife and spend some time in a prison in Argentina. He died in a car accident in 1995 while on furlough.
