Nunzia Agata Pometti was born in Catania, Italy on May
13, 1942. Known in films as Ada Pometti and also under the pseudonyms Priscilla
Benson and Ada Pomeroy, she has been a character actress since her first
appearance in “Tabula rasa” (1968). Among her most interesting works have
included the participation in the movies, “Lady Frankenstein” directed by Mel
Welles and Aureliano Luppi, “The Cat o’Nine Tails” directed by Dario Argento
(both 1971) and “Watch Out We’re Mad! (1974) directed by Marcello Fondato and
starring Terence Hill and Bud Spencer. Among the 50+ films she’s appeared in
have been four Euro-westerns: “His Name Was King” (1971), “Jesse and Lester, Two
Brothers in a Place Called Trinity” (1972), “Court Martial” (1973) and “White
Fang and the Kid” (1977). Her last appearance was in the 2007 TV mini-series “Il
capo dei capi”. Happy 70th Birthday today to Ada Pometti.
