Remembering Loredana Nusciak

Loredana Cappelletti was born on May 3, 1942 in Rome, Italy. After winning the title of Miss Trieste in 1959, she became a model and television performer on television appearing in advertisements for Carousel. Changing her name to Loredana Nusciak she made her first film appearance in “The Queen of the Amazons” (1960). She went on to appear in over 25 films among which were six Euro-westerns including “Django” (1965), “$7.00 to Kill” (1966) and “$10,000 for a Massacre” (1967). In the mid-1970’s she turned to making Fotoromanzi’s (Italian film magazines), with her husband Gianni Medici (aka John Hamilton) from 1973-1986. Loredana retired and died in seclusion from cancer in 2006.
Today we remember Loredana Nusciak on what would have been her 70th birthday.
