Little Known Spaghetti Western Actors ~ Henry Capps

[These daily posts will cover little known actors or people that have appeared in more recent films and TV series. Various degrees of information that I was able to find will be given and anything that you can add would be appreciated.]

William Henry Capps was born on June 9, 1942, in Hollywood, Florida. He graduated from Taylor County High School and shortly thereafter moved to Los Angeles to attend the prestigious Pasadena Playhouse and also graduated from San Fernando Valley State College (now California State College Northridge), with a Bachelor of Arts degree in literature.

Henry was a songwriter and poet. His first and only CD represented his ability to write and tell varied stories. He was also a writer of cowboy poetry which was published in the Foundation Quarter Horse Registry located in Sterling, Colorado.  Numerous western artists throughout the southwest often performed his poetry.

Capps died from complications of a broken hip on November 5, 2019, in Jacksonville, Florida at the age of 77.

Henry’s only Euro-western was as Hank in 1968’s “The Proud and the Damned” starring Chuck Connors and Cesar Romero.
