After Tuco and Blonde end their partnership and Tuco is left in the desert to walk back to town. Blonde pairs up with a new partner Shorty Larson and the two perform the same trick of turning in Shorty for the reward on his head and then Blonde shoots the rope at the hanging and the two ride off and split the reward money. The scene of Shorty’s hanging was set in the village of El Hornillo, Spain.
The village today lies mostly in ruins.
