19 Little Known Spaghetti Western Actors ~ Peter Caminnecci

[These daily posts will cover little known actors or people that have appeared in more recent films and TV series. Various degrees of information that I was able to find will be given and anything that you can add would be appreciated.]

Pier ‘Peter’ Andrea Caminneci was born in Dresden, Saxony, Germany on July 25, 1941. Known mostly as a film producer and actor but he also directed and wrote screenplays. He was the son of Harras Ursus Caminneci Siemens and was once heir to a large part of the Siemens manufacturing fortune.

Peter was known for “Der Mörder mit dem Seidenschal” (1966), “Death on a Rainy Day” (1967) and “Two Undercover Angels” (1969). He was married to actress Pia Degermark [1949- ] from 1971 to 1973 but she left him due to his alchoholsim. They had a son Cesare Caminnecci born in 1972.

Caminnecci died on December 30, 2013, in Silvaplana, Switzerland.

Peter appeared in one Spaghetti western in an uncredited role in 1964’s “Solo contro tutti” (The Son of Jesse James).
