This performance of Giacomo Puccini's opera Fanciulla del West, set in the American Old West, staged in opulent Hollywood style by Nikolaus Lehnhoff, who puts a modern spin on the story. The performance was recorded at the Nederlandse Opera, and features Eva-Maria Westbroek and Lucio Gallo in the leading roles. The performance was shown on Dutch television in 2009.
