Multifunctional Finnish entertainer Simo Salminen will be
remembered, among other things as an actor, a singer, and in particular for his
films with Spede Pasanen, died September 2nd in Salo, Finland at the age of 84. Born
Simo Veli Atte Salminen on November 8, 1932 in Vanaja, Finland, Simo appeared
in two Euro-westerns as The Slowest Gun in the East in 1970’s “Speedy Gonzalez”
and as Tonto in 1971’s “The Unhanged”.
