Little Known Spaghetti Western actors ~ Omán de Bengala

[These daily posts will cover little known actors or people that have appeared in more recent films and TV series. Various degrees of information that I was able to find will be given and anything that you can add would be appreciated.]

Born Eugenio Vicente Martinez in the 1920s, he was a poet based in Barcelona throughout the 1950's. His earliest film appearances were shot there. It appears he relocated to Madrid at the start of the 1960's to try his luck at acting and remained there throughout the decade, his somewhat-eccentric looks ensuring he worked steadily in small roles. He reportedly also appeared in theatre and television productions. His last-known film appearance was in a 1971 film shot in Barcelona, after which no information is known.

In all de Bangala appeared in thirteen film and television appearances between 1958 and 1971.

Omán appeared in two Spaghetti westerns: “Camino del sur” “Seven from Texas) in 1964 as a hoedown attendee and “I lunghi giorni della vendetta” (Long Days of Revenge) in 1967 as the hangman.
