Enrique Rodolfo Anda Serrano was born in Mexico City on July 6, 1943. He used the stage name Rodolfo de Anda and was the son of producer, director, and actor Raul de Anda. His brothers included producer Raul de Anda Jr. and director, and actor Gilberto de Anda. His son Rodolfo de Anda Jr. was the producer of the popular TV show ‘El Pantera’, in which Rodolfo Sr. had a recurring role. Rodolfo de Anda was best known for his action films. In all Rodolfo appeared in one hundred and sixty plus films and television appearances between 1955 and 2008 among which were forty-four westerns. He directed sixteen films and produced fourteen films.
Rodolfo de Anda died in Aguascalientes, Mexico on February 1, 2010 from complications do to diabetes.
de Anda appeared in one Euro-western 1999's "“Heroes sin patria” (One Man's Hero) starring Tom Berenger, with de Anda playing the role of General Ampudia.
