Who Aar Those Singers & Musicians ~ Roberto Fia

Roberto Fia is an Italian singer, record producer, songwriter and A&R scout. It was Ennio Morricone, on the recommendation of Fia’s singing teacher, who proposed to him, at a young age, to sign a contract with La Parade, a record company founded by Micocci, Morricone and Bacalov. It was with Luis Bacalov that he recorded his first album, “Django” (1966), the now cult soundtrack of the homonymous film by Sergio Corbucci, which in 2012 earned Roberto Fia an unexpected mention in the soundtrack of “Django Unchained”, by Quentin Tarantino.

Later in his career he became a Production Manager at RCA Records in Rome.

In recent years Roberto Fia has mainly written theatrical soundtracks, collaborating with directors such as Maurizio Panici, Giuseppe Di Pasquale, Pino Quartullo, Roberto Ciufoli and Patrik Rossi Gastaldi.
