Bomba and his men hide outside the fort while Angel gets friendly with a saloon girl named Conchita. He helps her carry food to the soldiers stationed in the church tower.
He ties Conchita up and makes it to the top of the tower and then lowers a rope, which he has concealed under his poncho, down the outside of the tower and signals Bomba with a lighted torch. Bomba, Ed and Tom climb the rope and Angel returns to Conchita and loosens the bandana covering her mouth. She screams and the soldiers respond. The capture Angel and untie Conchita. Angel and Conchita are lead away as Bomba breaks into the arsenal.
Meanwhile Angel is beaten up by the soldiers who are trying to get information out of him. Bomba prepares to blow up the arsenal. When several soldiers are sent to the arsenal, they can’t open the door because Bomba has barricaded it. They call for backup and Tom and Ed open fire on the soldiers. Bomba lights the dynamite, and they manage to escape just as the rest of the soldiers break into the arsenal but it’s too late and the entire complex is blown to bits.
This scene was filmed outside Madrid at the Daganzo de Arriba, Spain.
