Jean Hachemi was born in France in 1939. Little is known about him other than he was popular from the late 1950s till the mid-1980s. He was a pop singer who recorded under the names of Jean Amani and Jean Janis. He had a very pleasant voice like Vic Damone. His recordings were released by Diadem, Epic, Polydor and Castel among others. He recorded the song “Talulah” for the 1966 Spaghetti western “Death Walks in Laredo” starring Thomas Hunter,
