After Scott’s shooting lesson Talby goes to the bank and
confronts Mr. Turner. He tells Turner he wants to make a withdrawal. Turner
tells him he has no account. Talby says no but Wild Jack does and that Jack’s
dead and he wants to close the account. He tells Turner Bill Farrow is dead
too. He tells Turner Farrow signed a confession before he died listing all his
accomplices including Turner. Turner asks Talby how much he wants and he’s told
$1,000. Turner give Talby the money and asks for the confession. Talby says,
“For so little?” and tells Turner his money is safe with him, then turns and
leaves the bank. Turner then tells a teller to go get Abel Murray and Judge
Cutcher. As they walk out onto the boardwalk they see Talby enter Murray’s saloon. Turner
tells the teller it’s too late for Abel and to go get the judge and have him
come to the bank right away.
